Which Cry Baby...

Right, i'm looking at buying me a Cry Baby, ive wanted one for a while now because i like the sound of them and it adds variety to a solo, and it would be useful to have one because my band want to cover enter sandman and have you heard that song without one?! bleurgh! haha

there are just so many different versions now! its unbelievable.

ive got the choice down to about 4 i think, but am very open to suggestions! ive just never come across a shop that has more than 2 or 3 different ones in stock at any one time available to try.

the shortlist:

The original Cry Baby - £60
535Q - ~£100
The Zakk Wylde signature - £120
The new Slash signature - £200 :eek:

now i have no idea which one to pick, i think the slash one is a bit of a pipe dream as i couldnt see myself spending £200 on it!

was talking with andelusion about morelys, because iirc he has one, and he says he really regrets buying it over a crybaby.

i know vai uses a morley, didnt know morello used one, i thought he used a crybaby, will check

i'm after a wah with loooads of sweep, a really good range as the Vox one i have with my amp doesnt really go very far. less of a "wah wah" more of a "waaaaah"

i think i will probably end up with the zakk wylde one in all fairness. i just wanna go somewhere and test out those 4 heh.

we'll see heh, ive only ever tried the Vox ones, and for me they just dont have enough balls to them!
