Which custom 1080 should i get?

EVGA just opened an RMA and support centre in the UK. Out of all the companies, EVGA seem to be best in terms of support and handling problems. That alone would count as a big point in their favour with me.

I always find Asus GPU's 20% higher in price for the same product. The one thing that put me off Asus Strix 1080 was the RGB ROG led logo on the backplate. I mean cmon it has RGB lighting on the cooler it's self do we really need it on the backplate too.

Pass imho

This year is LED year

if you see EVGA 1080 FTW

Gibbo You like LED's to since got extra on mustang over stock :D I like LED's got some on my teg and in my pc.

Conclusion ?? Cant go wrong with extra LED. If one does not like can always turn them off.

I would go
Zotec AMP Extreme or EVGA FTW

Both looks epic.

just to let you know that your 3rd list Gigabyte 1080 G1 is only 1 X 8 pin .

for gigabyte you need to go for Xtreme Edition for 2 X 8pin

C'mon guys, let's do some math here before pulling out the pitchforks.
8 pin means the card gets delivered 225 Watts (150+75 from PCI-e)
TDP for GTX 1080 is 180 Watts, how much would you need to overclock to take 45 more watts?
Now, if you want to discuss power delivery. I believe our G1 has 8+2 phases compared to the 5+1 on the founders, this is something that indeed matters.

I guess we have to wait for the reviews and see if they back up my claim.

my real choice actually would be EVGA Hybrid but I am so itchy to get the card as soon as lol . I tried Gigabyte Extreme on my friend rig and its overclocked even higher than mine Hybrid .

So you're saying the extreme with the extra connector is a waste of money?
