I always find Asus GPU's 20% higher in price for the same product. The one thing that put me off Asus Strix 1080 was the RGB ROG led logo on the backplate. I mean cmon it has RGB lighting on the cooler it's self do we really need it on the backplate too.
Pass imho
This year is LED year
if you see EVGA 1080 FTW

Yes, but it's not the backplate like Asus though. The Asus Strix Arua is so tacky
People love LEDs and sales suggest Asus got it spot on.![]()

just to let you know that your 3rd list Gigabyte 1080 G1 is only 1 X 8 pin .
for gigabyte you need to go for Xtreme Edition for 2 X 8pin
Or you have no taste.![]()

Gibbo i have preordered the Gigabyte Xtreme . hope you can get the them to supply you the card early![]()
I'm torn between the kfa2 ex oc or the inno3d Ichill.
C'mon guys, let's do some math here before pulling out the pitchforks.
8 pin means the card gets delivered 225 Watts (150+75 from PCI-e)
TDP for GTX 1080 is 180 Watts, how much would you need to overclock to take 45 more watts?
Now, if you want to discuss power delivery. I believe our G1 has 6+2 phases compared to the 5+1 on the founders, this is something that indeed matters.
I guess we have to wait for the reviews and see if they back up my claim.
