I wanted to get a DAB alarm clock for the bedroom. So I was wondering if anyone could recomend one to me ??

Was looking at the Roberts Dreamtime 2
Although someone told me that it starts off really quiet when the alarm goes off, then goes silly loud and this cant be adjusted ?? The only way to get a normal level is to turn the alarm off and then turn the radio back on.

Any thoughts ??;)

I've got the Pure Chronos, although I think its end of line now. Have seen a few of the Pure ones around & seem very good although quite expensive.

I've also got the Chronos CD but I only really use it as an alarm clock.
2 major problems with it. Firstly the steps between each volume level are too large, secondly the wire aerial is rubbish if it's not in a position to get a decent signal and you can't easily replace it with something better.

Invasion, have you checked whether there's a firmware update that cures that problem? I have a different Roberts radio which did the same thing but not after updating the firmware.

Hamster: can't seem to find a firmware update... it may not even be a problem now. Someone said it was on a review but you never know with people on those things lol:D
