I am slightly confused with the memory information given about the x99m motherboard. It came with some team 2166 that is running at 2400. it doesn't have xmp support.
the motherboard states it has support for 2800 (OC)
Which memory should I go for for maximum speed to keep up with everything else?
Can I get faster memory, ie, 3000 or 3200 and try to overclock it to these speeds or is 2800 the most I can hope for?
I have just put a watercooling system in which has reduced the cpu and both gpu temps by over 50% so with temp sorted I am hoping to be able to push the speeds up.
and finally, which brand of memory do you recommend
