Which dfi xfire mobo

or
DFI LanParty UT RDX200CF-DR Crossfire

carring over to it wll be
asus x1900xt 512 xfire g-card
thermaltake 680 watt psu
amd x2 4400+ 939
munhkin pc3500 black 4 sticks of 512
audigy 4

which one better with these

LANPARTY UT CFX3200-DR/G sure this has sata2, other has only sata1 , dont think there that much more diff, as 3200 is a later model, this probs has the edge :)
 
so no differenc e between the 2,only sata and usb speed
do either allow you to update bios in windows with widow based program rather than using afloppy to update bios

yes u can do it with dfi flash utility, best way 2 flash bios thou would b using tmod's cd, has all the diff bios u would ever need plus a few modded bios :)

will be getting the LANPARTY UT CFX3200-DR/G if i got the deal im looking at,otherwise will get the DFI LanParty UT RDX200CF-DR Crossfire as good price at moment
 
question
according to dfi forums
single rail power supplys work better with ati dfi based mobo
have a thermaltake 680 watt psu
any thoughts

The 3200 is faster as its the later RD580 chipset, the RDX200 is the old RD450 chipset which also has the terrible SouthBridge, and rusn both slots at 8x when in Crossfire, the 3200 runs them both at the full 16x as said above. :)

that means no raptors on it right cos i just got antec nine hundred case and the mobo i was planning on using an asrock dual sata 2 i think the psu wont conneect to mobo cos of position of psu on bottom and where the pins lay on mobo bit of a sticky situation atm :(
 
got the cfx3200
at moment only can run 3 x512 on t2
wont run 4 x 512
using a sata maxtor 250 gig,when windows installed,i load up drivers off cd,uli drivers and then cant get into windows
can'tt get my 2 ide harddrives to work as well
bios are 4/26/06
 
runns 2 x512 mushkin pc3500 level2 black no prob,cant get 4 x512 to run,will run 3 x512 but sometimes get blue screen
have on t2
need to change settings
also other probs
put in 1 160 gb ide drive and 250 sata
everything installs ok,if i install uli drivers for sata or ide controller and raid utility off dfi cd,get all sorts of probs
keeps rebooting
only way i can run afly at moment is not to install sataraid utility off dfi cd as well as uli drivers off cd
whats my options
 
got cxf3200 mobo

psu no prob
cpu,no prob
2 x x1900xt ,no prob
heres my probs
have one ide 160gb and one sata 250gb
install windows ,then install drivers off dfi cd and reboot ,everything looking good,install uli drivers and system wont boot,can get into windows,cant go safe mode as some how my usb keyboard keeps getting disabled in bios??
my prob at moment is uli drivers
windows put in tis own ide controller and other drivers to replace uli drivers,
asw these at uli website,can i use or should i get else where uli drivers

I guess i was lucky i had no problems with 4 sticks of ram.

heres my probs with xcf3200
using the ali drivers that windows setup when restalled windows as have big probs with uli drivers off cd as wont boot
cant run 4x512 mushkin ram which i sort out later
running only one ide drive for now till i get it running ok for basic setup
notice tonight before comming to work,when you start up system ,it hangs,if i wait more than 5 mins it go to windows#
whats up with that
if i cant get sorted by end of week,selling the bloody mobo as not wasting my time
only drivers i installed off dfi cd that came with mobo was maxwel lan drivers and directx 9c ,would a new version of bios sort out some probs and what probs does it sort
currently came with 25/04/2006

Download the latest bios & the USB keyboard at startup is fixed.

whats the deal with uli
at moment let windows install its own ali driver to replace uli
only have 1 ide drive with windows ans some software in it
also why does it hang when booting for few mins,does new bios help
is the new bios -27/08.2006
