Which Domain Name?

I would be grateful for opinions and insight into the following scenario.

I own a website - www.companyname.com - which performs reasonably well in search engines for the relevant terms.

I also own two additional domain names which contain these search terms, covering the two towns my business targets.

www.plastictubingtownone.com
www.plastictubingtowntwo.com

Should I develop my new website on the existing domain or is there any benefit in using one of the alternative domain names instead?

Which would be the most beneficial as the primary domain and how could I best make use of them all?

Rgds.

For SEO, the best route would be to make the primary domain your companyname.com address. This will be the best in the long run - imagine you decide to target other locations, yet your domain is plastictubingmanchester.com, what about someone coming to your from Portmouth? It'll also be more descriptive for users when it's found in the SERPs if you use companyname.com.

Then make a couple of tailored landing pages for each of your plastic tubing domains. The content of each can be similar, just make sure you tailor the copy and meta to the specific location you're targeting. Also, make sure to include links back to your main website.

Whatever you do, don't just 301 redirect the tubing domains to your main site as that will be completely pointless and gain you nothing, SEO-wise.

Would a keyword-rich article on each secondary domain suffice or would you suggest creating more of a 'traditional' webpage/mini-site?

One problem might be that each article would be selling the same product and service but to two different towns.

For the record this site sells only one product and only to two towns. Short-sighted, from a business point of view maybe but that is how it is.

Plastic tubing is a unique widget and townone and towntwo are made up names.
