I'm really wanting to like this game but something's not quite clicking for me so I'm going to take a look at modding it a bit. Which ones are worth installing? Which ones are 'must haves'?

Also, I've read through much of the installation guides on DANexus and they seem a bit complicated, with some mods needing other mods to work and different mod managers. Are they worth the hassle? I don't usualy mod any games so am fairly thick at this.

Thanks for reading.

Skip The Fade (gets you past the most boring part of the game, but also gives you all the bonuses you could have picked up there).
Slap Morrigan.
Equal Love.
Alley of Murders (An early and short mod, but fully voiced. A good way to see what the mod community is coming up with).
Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors.
Ser Perth (a new NPC, fully voiced).

Most, if not all, mods you just unzip and put in the /core/packakges/override folder. There some you can use the ModInstaller for, but once you do one mod, you'll work out how to do them all.

I wouldn't use Skip the Fade until you've tried the fade at least once, I thought it was one of the better bits of the game.

respec mod is pretty good

I agree with this after playing Awakenings. My first playthrough of Origins I didnt use any mods and really enjoyed it, but always wanted to respec some characters to make them more effective. Now on my playthroughs this is my only mod I use and really think it helps as it doesnt break the game, it just allows you to have more options when playing.
