Ive finally managed to get my first build pc up and running. Just finished installing windows, I know I need to now get mother board drivers, graphics drivers and antivirus. Im on the gigabyte website for motherboard, and for drivers its got audio, chipset and LAN, do i need all of them?

Also is there any other things I need to update apart from windows?

Thanks

I normally do chipset drivers, GFX drivers, then other drivers ( sound, wireless, printer etc )

Then i put antivirus and firewall stuff on then do windows update.

after windows, loads chipset drivers, u will need lan 2 get onto the net, load chipset drivers, audio is if only u gonna use that, u have a sep audio card ?
then load G Card drivers, then virus firewall, then update Xp & f/wall /virus. then u rdy 2 load anything u need want :)

Don't forget Windows service packs/updates :)

You only need the onboard audio/LAN drivers if they are enabled, otherwise just grab the chipset drivers.

Thanks, back to the motherboard drivers, I dont have a seperate audio board so guess I need the drivers, but im not sure what this means

Realtek Function driver for Realtek Azalia audio chip(Note:Please install UAA (Universal Audio Architecture) Bus driver first before install this function driver)

whats the bus driver?

edit, nevermind, found out :)
