Which dual PVR card for Freesat?

hi

have just ordered Freesat (satelite installation with card to get Freeview channels) and am wondering how and what dual pvr card I need for my media pc.

Currently have a single hauppauge 150pvr card for analog terrestrial tv so have no experience or idea as to use a media pc with satelite.

Do I use the decoder box running to digital pvr or is it done another way?

Would like to have a dual pvr card so can watch one channel whilst recording another.

Appreciate some help on this one. Many thanks.

The PC cards that I have seen are designed to receive digital TV themselves, so once you buy the card, you would normally just plug an aerial into it, and then use the software with the card to provide the PVR functionality.

It would have been cheaper to forget about Freesat and just buy yourself a PC card such as those from Hauppauge or Pinnacle.

That said, there might be a way of somehow recording from Freesat, but this is going to be technically much more difficult and I don't know of a ready-to-go solution.
