Im sitting here wondering which ducky to buy.

If money was no object my ideal choice would be Ducky shine 3 I love the magenta lights and really want brown switches
but Im finding it hard to justify in myself the £140 for a few lights and after 2-3 days will it be just flaff.

Then I keep looking at the ducky zero £100 has everything I need but the lights are just blue and I keep wondering if I cant get the lights I want,
I might as well just get the basic ducky zero at £70 with no lights

I am feeling its a all or nothing choice atm ,but its a big jump from £70 to £140 you cant imagine how many times Ive had all three of them in my basket.

from what Ive seen

basic ducky Dk2018 Plain basic keyboard looks tough last for years no hassle or flash

DK2018S has the following extra for £30 more: Blue LED's (not my ideal choice of LEds )but would be nice to have a little flash

DK-9008 has the following for £70 extra (or £40 more than DK2018s) has Magenta LED's:couple of profiles: some flashy light features:uv keycaps and red WASD but costs a lot more double the cost of the basic one

which is the same keyboard with no flash

and round and round I keep going

I am almost at the point of brain overload

any one want to offer any thoughts here are the 3 keyboards

In what way is the 'Ducky' better than say http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-016-CM&tool=3 ?

The CM Storm also has positive feedback against no feedback for any of the 'Ducky' keyboards.

Do you really wanna pay £140 for a purple back lit keyboard ? lol

I do kinda like magenta as a colour but I don't want to pay £140 for a keyboard that's my point .

I keep looking at the basic one but keep thinking what happens if I get some new keycaps that would look cool with back lights.
Then I would be kicking myself. for not buying the middle price one.
Then I keep thinking why I don't just pay the extra for the colour i really want

Then I keep thinking what the hell a £140 for a keyboard and back to earth I come and the whole cycle starts again

Seems like you've past the point of no return. You've found something you love beyond all rational reason, and now you'll never be happy with anything else. You have no choice but to buy the Ducky III.
