Which DVI Graphics Connector Do You Use?

Hi all,

I have a x1800XT and have always used the DVI connector at the bottom (closest to motherboard), Are there any differences between the two?

Also as my monitor is not DVI standerd I have to use an adapter. Does it make any difference if I connect it to the graphics card of monitor?

I always think of that one as the primary connector. Doubt it makes any difference until you start using both.
