Which External Firewire HDD?

Hi all,

i'm after an external 1 terabyte firewire (400) hard drive.
Its only going to sit on my desk, so it does not need to be portable.
Any recommendations? Which ones do you have?

I was considering the LaCie - Hard Disk, Design by Neil Poulton, 1 TB USB 2.0/Firewire 400/eSATA External Hard Drive.

ps, firewire 800 drives do work on firewire 400 ports, right? just not as fast?

unfortunatley its against the rules to link a competitor so if i were you i would remove the link, otherwise you may be banned

I have a WD MyBook which has been great for the last year. I transfer data via firewire and it's simple and quick.
