Which F-Connectors for Sky installed cables?

We are in the process of tidying up some cables - purchasing shorter cables where longer than required have been supplied.
When the Sky engineer ran the two cables from the dish (before we purchased this house) he left a massive length on these which to be frank are getting in the way.
I want to cut about 75cm off the end and then fit new F-Connectors. Now it is possible I might be able to remove the connectors used by the Sky engineer and re-use them, but always possible that won't work and once I've made that cut in the cable I want to get it put back together as quickly as possible!

Which F-Connectors do I require for the end of these cables?
The cable has been in place for at least 12 years, so it is an "old run" of cable from dish to home if that makes any difference.

Cheers.

I would just use the ones that came off if they were fine before.
They just unscrew off the cable then screw them back on once you have cut the cable to length.

Hi stoofa.
I have been a sky installation engineer in my history and although you shouldn't have a problem I have seen some cables which have deteriorated on the inside.
I would live with a cable that worked rather than mess around and risk messing up the signal.
Of course it's your choice. As Silver black says just use the same connectors.
Let us all know how it goes.

Massive and 75cm? You don't want the cables too tight, there really needs to be enough slack so you can pull the box out to get to the back for example.
