I have a Scythe Kama Bay, had it a few years now and the original Scythe fan is not as quiet as it once was, possibly a bearing gone, but its making an awful racket so time to either replace it, or ditch the kama Bay!

Currently have an Akasa Eclipse case with a Noctua fan on Intake, Exhaust and on my Noctua CPU Cooler, not sure if the whole Kama Bay is a good idea or not now? Insides will be running (After today) 2 x Samsung F1 HDD, 1 x Corsair SSD, 1 older SATA drive, Asus P5N-E SLI Board w/ E8400, ATI 4890 and a Creative X-Fi Music.

Thankies! :D

You could take the fan off altogether and just have a passive filtered intake -
less fans = less noise (as long as it doesnt have negative impact on temp).

I have a sharkoon silent eagle 2000 in a kama bay in my eclipse, though its run off a fan controller to keep the noise down.
