Hi all,

Which fan should I get for my XP-90C? This is on a 3000+. Looking for the best compromise between price, noise and performance.

Also,

What PSU would you recommend. Machine comprises of 3000+, X800GTO2, 250gig SATA WD, one DVD-RW drive and about 9 USB devices. Again looking for the best compromise between price and performance (broke atm!)

For the PSU, i'd go for the FSP Sparkle ATX-400PNF 400W ATX2.0 PSU (CA-006-SK). Its about the cheapest decent psu around by the looks of it, and its actually pretty good on paper.

The best 80mm fan for airflow to noise ratio is probably a panaflo of some sort if you can find one. Failing that the silent x ones look pretty good. I have a nexus one and noise is extremely low however airflow isn't that great.

the 90-c can take 120mm fans cant it? would this be better than a 92mm?

edit: actually looking at it it seems its 92 max... :)

So is the PSU, running a Pentium D with a 1040mhz overclock which draws 160w on it's own along with 3x120mm fans, 120gb HD, x800gto, dvd, cathode light etc. and they are as close to silent as you can get bar a passive PSU.
