Which fans for NZXT S340?

Ok here goes... I like the overall look of the NZXT S340, but I'm a little disappointed when it comes to my GPU temps (Zotac GTX 980 TI AMP!). I even applied some fresh TIM (Arctic MX-4) which dropped the temps by a couple of °C. The GPU temps will easily reach 80C when playing BF4 or the Witcher 3, but will drop to around 73C if I remove the front panel and dust filter from the case... I already knew the air intake would be somewhat restricted, but not by a massive amount (I thought).

Anyway, my case currently has a pair of 140mm Prolimatech Vortex 14 Blue Wings installed in the front that I bought when they were half price (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/prolimatech-blue-vortex-blue-wings-140mm-fan-fg-000-pl.html). They are a bit loud and struggle to shift any air at all when the front panel and dust filter are attached to the case :(. Now this raises the question... Should I have gone for fans that are more static pressure orientated? I know SP fans are good at pushing air through obstacles, but what are they like at PULLING air through things like dust filters and restrictive panels? I only ever hear about people going on about their air pushing power.

What fans do you guys use with the S340 or similar styles cases?

Don't think any fans would make any difference as it's so restrictive at the front.

I was thinking maybe fans with a higher pressure rating... But only if they can pull air better than normal airflow fans. The front panel has fairly large gaps at the top and bottom for air, but it almost feels like air is being pushed out of the gaps with the current fans (even though they are fixed as intake fans).

If only they did them in black & blue (the current theme for my PC)... I was thinking about getting these https://www.overclockers.co.uk/bitfenix-spectre-pro-140mm-fan-all-black-fg-037-bx.html

Or maybe even the blue LED version to light up the case a bit :) https://www.overclockers.co.uk/bitfenix-spectre-pro-140mm-blue-led-black-fg-017-bx.html

EDIT: This version has higher flow and pressure, but a pair of them could be a bit noisy? https://www.overclockers.co.uk/bitfenix-spectre-pro-pwm-140mm-fan-black-fg-044-bx.html

Just get the vipers. cracking fans. They will be at the front so not like you will see it?

I use Scythe Glide Stream 140MM 1200 RPM fans for intakes in my Define S which is a similar design

I rate them highly they move plenty of air through the restrictive front intake and filter and make a pleasant enough sound

Minimalist design too which is always a bonus for me

I've found the perfect front intake fans for my S340 case. I ended up buying a pair of 140mm Cougar fans and they are miles better than the Prolimatech fans I was using!

They pull air through the front panel & dust filter with ease and the airflow inside the case is great! I can feel the breeze coming out the back of the case through the meshed PCIe blanking plates... Very quiet too, even when running full speed!

My case is now quieter and much cooler thanks to these fans. It also has a nice blue glow inside too :)
