Which Firewall/AV

My mum wants a new firewall/av for her XP pc. What's the best one at the moment in terms of simplicity and system resources?

Agreed. Both freeware and both as good as any payware.

There should be a sticky regarding AV/firewalls BTW. This question only gets asked daily.

She currently has commodo installed. Thing is it's always asking if she wants allow x or y application access the internet even when shes checked the tickbox sayign 'always allow'. What's Defense+ on commodo?

For AV shes using AVG free 7. I take it Aviras better then?

Yes, Avira and Avast are better than AVG.
