Hey all,

Been looking around at the PS3 deals in the stores and theres a deal where you get one game out of:

Conan
Pirates of the Carribbean
Juiced 2
Ratatouie
Spiderman 3
Stuntman Ignition
Transformers

Which to choose?

Yea id look at other deals mate, if i had to choose tho probably stuntman or conan, tho theyre 17.99 somewhere.
 
agree with above ^^

Conan and Stuntman are passable but not great.

Dont even think about getting pirates of the carribean *shudders*
 
avoid stuntman if you dont like repetitive gameplay. its pretty dire, infact, worst purchase of the year IMO. save your money for a different deal
 
If you see a better deal please let me know :) Most deals around are like £300 for the console plus a selected game - but I agree most of them look really rubbish... I was considering Spiderman 3, doesn't look too bad :p
 
Its ok if youve never played spiderman (as its pretty much the same as the 2nd one) but it wont give you a good impression of what the ps3 is capable of as its graphics are pants!

Spiderman 3 is the best of that bunch imo. If you liked the previous games it plays more or less the same way as them, just with more missions and bigger city. The graphics are only marginally above average though. Depends how good a deal you are getting really, but I would look for a bundle with a more current game if I had a choice.

Not played Spiderman but going from the XBL demo of Conan earlier last month I'd say that is the best of the lot. Shrewd visuals but otherwise Ok slice and dice gameplay.

Juiced 2 - Most laughable car game I've ever set eyes on. Seriously 8bit car racers have better handling than this.

Stuntman - Pretty good but didn't sell too well when it went retail.

Transformers - Movie tie in...nuff said.

Pirates - Looks great, but awkward camera angles. Demo wasn't bad...

For 1 player game, Uncharted followed by Heavenly Sword.

For Multiplayer COD4 followed by Motorstom.

thats what i went down for and got the other deal I e mailed you

I looked for a couple of days cheapest console I saw was £179.99 del and cheapest I can see Fifa for is £24.99 del.
 
Think I may go for that deal then tonight...

Okay a few quick PS3 related questions before I make the jump...

1. It'll be the 40GB edition... does this mean I CAN'T play PS2 games on it?
2. Does it come with wireless internet or will I need to either buy it seperately or connect it to my router via Ethernet?
3. I already have Rock Band being shipped in... since it's the USA edition, should I register to the PSN US or is it all universal?
