Which Game

Hi There.

Looking to purchase either;

The Elder Scrolls IV Game of the Year Edition

or

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Really stuck on which to get

What would you choose and why?

What he said, CoD4 is the best MP game around atm imo. And Oblivion is one hell of a SP game.

Being honest you can't go wrong with either, and if you can stretch it get both

Thanks for your replies.

To be honest, I can afford both, but really shouldnt, as I'd have to buy Xbox Live Gold to get the most out of COD4, which would be another £35 for a year. Also, looking for something that I wont get bored of quickly or complete quickly. I think I've answered my own question really. I guess I'll go for The Elder Scrolls IV and get COD4 + Gold with my next paycheck.

But id still love to hear your choices and why

Well CoD4 can wait, Oblivion NEEDS to be played

How much do you like RPG's? Because Oblivion is deep. It isn't faultless, especially if you're played Morrowind - it's predecessor but it is still a brilliant game on the whole. Great visuals and music and lots to do. Hell even Captain Picard is in it!

There's lots of Marketplace add-on downloads too, just avoid the horse armour at all costs or people will laugh at you on the streets, both in rl and in Oblivion

I think CoD4 is the better game, but you'll likely get more from Oblivion.

The former is a lot cheaper.

CoD 4 is the better game but it's so much shorter, and if you're looking to make it last then go with Oblivion.

Still, why not rent CoD4 if you want both?
