Any recommendations for £15 xbox games? ********. I thought I'd best spend it but I barely play the console so I'm not fussed. I'm limited to pre-owned, obviously but I'll add some money if something catches my eye. Perhaps a title that'll get me gaming again? Assassins Creed, Prince of Persia, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, these caught my eye in the shop earlier in the week.

The only game I ever played religiously on the xbox was COD4 but it broke. Halo is ghastly, Fear is boring, Forza gives me sore heads and the rest of them I can't even be bothered listing. :p

Please don't mention competitors, even under the context that you did.

Thank you.

Resident Evil looked ok, I loved the original Playstation games. The first Devil May Cry was awesome too, however I never owned it.

It's very petty but after seeing the screenshots on the back of the Dead Space case I thought it looked terrible.

Dead Space looks okay, actually. I'm scared it'll be an entire game played out in the dark though. The trailers and gameplay footage seem to suggest this. I prefer a mixture of lighting. :p

Fallout 3? The graphics look fairly poor but what's the gameplay like?

edit: Apologies about the competitor, although games retailers(despite ocuk selling consoles) aren't direct competitors so I see little issue.

Thread bump:

Why the hell won't COD4 depreciate? It's not available anywhere for under £40?

The reason I never play the xbox is mainly because my previous COD4 disc broke so it's probably a good idea to get this instead of something else I'll never play. As said, I can't find it anywhere for under £40 and I've never seen a preowned version.

First place I looked had a used copy for £22.99 and a new copy of the GOTY edition for £30 - free delivery on both.
I saw that :D I should've explained, I'm only trying the one retailer as that's where I hold the gift cards for. Even then, all UK retailers seem the same. The preowned value doesn't seem to have depreciated as you'd expect from a game that's been out for ages.
Can you not take your disc into blockbuster and get it repaired, usually costs £2
The console scratched the disc up fairly badly, I'm not sure if it's repairable. There's no guarantee they can repair it?

I'll be picking up COD4 today, found GOTY edition after a bit of phoning around.

If it gets me back into gaming, which I'm hoping for I'll actually spend some money on Dead Space and Resident Evil. :)
