I have just been looking at the Sennheiser HD485, and They seem to get good reviews, How would they compare to the Medusa's that I have used in the past?

Also I read they can simulate suround sound, I was just wondering how you go about doing this, and how good it is? I will be using them with an Audigy 2, or with my onboard sound, have I got the right stuff to do this?

*Cant afford an X-Fi*

Normally Id say Steelsounds. But OcUK dont have any.

Went through 3 pairs of Medusas, the build quality is *****... dont buy em.

Could try Zalman.... but Im thinking you'd be safer with Sennheisers matey.
Well I had Medusas, thats the reason for needing new headphones, the ear peuce snaped off from the headband
