After a new monitor now my budget one has given up the ghost.

looking for 27 inch high Hz

Looks a good price

screen will be used for gaming (destiny 2, Overwatch , CSGO ) with an 970 card

1440p would be nice.

please don't suggest ones that are rare as rocking horse excrement that are never in stock.

Help me get through my quarantine state with some shiny new things

That's way expensive for medieval resolution.
Here's cheaper 2560x1440 VA:

If you prefer dark/dimply lighted room VA's best of LCD's contrast and black shines there.
But at expense of "black crush" crushing darkest shades toward and into complete black when viewed from direct angle.
Also darker shade transition response times are sluggish or with strong inverted ghosting from RTC overshoot.
IPS has lot better overall response times without such problematic transitions, but doesn't do well in darker room.

Number 2 in end doesn't make any difference to that.
And also that "HDR400" is basically just useless marketing sticker.
