Which G'card is better?

I currently have a XFX Geforce GTS 250 1gb card. A friend has said that I would get better performance from his AMD Radeon 6770 but looking at the figures the Geforce seems to come out on top (mostly)? I wasnt looking to change cards but may look at getting a new one if performance would be noticable...?

The GTS isnt sold anymore so difficult to find the stats for it and I understand that the 6770 is a re release of the 5770, so is similar age tech?

the 6770 should be a fair bit quicker overall.

Don't bother to be honest.

The 6770 IS faster than the GTS250, but it is not fast enough to the point of worth upgrading to from a GTS250.

The bare minimum you should look at for an upgrade should be a GTX460 or 6850.
