Hey im looking for a graphics card to go along with my rig that i will be ordering tommorow.

Intel Core 2 DUO E6400 "LGA775 Allendale" 2.13GHz (1066FSB) - Retail
Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
GeIL 1GB (2x512MB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit
Antec P180 Advanced Super Midi Tower Case - No PSU (Silver)
Corsair HX 520W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU

Ive narrowed it down to the connect3d ATI X1950 XT 256mb or the Leadtek 7950GT 256mb.

i have always used nvidia cards so i dunno whether to get the ATI or not even though the specs of it look better.

Hey

Personally id take the ATI card :) Ive always been a fan of the ATI cards however the new 8800 GTS/X nvidia cards have changed my mind but only this one series, the X1950's are lovely cards.

what resolution you running your games at if its 1280x1024 i would get the a1950 pro and use the money saved to get 2gb of ram

Agreed, the 1GB of RAM will slow you down more than the difference between a 1950 Pro and an XT.

Out of the original 2, x1950XT though.

As said the X1950XT is the better card, but also as said I would make more RAM a priority. If it were me, I would've gone for an OEM E6300 instead of the E6400 and put the extra money to an X1950XT and 2GB DDR2.
