Which GFX card?

Hi all..

Im after a new graphics card, i currently have a 9600Gt (which is a bit tired, so will be moved to my media pc when i upgrade)

Question is which card?..
either: 4870, gtx260 (core216) or gtx 285??

I cant justify the outlay for a 295 or 4870x2.. And im a big fan of nvidia over ATI.
IS the 285 worth the extra over the 260?..

If you prefer Nvidia, then id get the 260-216 out of those, its around same performance as the 4870 1gb, and the 285 isn't worth it, as you can get the much faster 4870x2 for those prices.

The 285 is a total waste of money mate. As above, go for a 260-216

gtx260 maxcore 55nm has had a massive price drop, around 140-150 quid now. would have said 4870 but u cant really say no to that
