Not sure which card to get, it's a choice out of the 5850, 4890/70 or GTX 260.

The 4890 seems the best value atm, so should I get this one? I will be playing games like CSS, Left4Dead, GTA4, etc..

Have you considered a 5770 too? they are about the same as a 4870 but have dx11 for future games and if you gaming at 1650x1080 it's your best bet.

Otherwise go for 5850 for sure.

Yeah I game at 1650x1080. There aren't a lot of dx11 games yet, so should I save my money and get a cheaper card, then wait for the dx11 cards to drop in price?

The 5770 is a nice price, but can it max out most games?

Well i do not know if your board supports crossfire so you could always add a 2nd 5770.....and anyway it should be fine at 1650x1080 judging by the benchmarks i've seen. What's your other pc specs?

I am using a GTX275 which is maxing all games, even Crysis 1920x1200 very high all with 2xaa at around 30fps but i got an oced i7 920 too however that card wouldn't perform much worse than mine so it should be fine.

Also in GTA4 i get about 30-45fps at 1920x1200, High/High/Very High/High/Highest with sliders 42/42/100/16 so the 5770 should be good at 1650x1080.
