Which GFX card?

Hey everyone.

I'm planning on upgrading my graphics card at Christmas time and stuck to which card to go for. I don't play too many games but If I do play games it would be things such as Flight Simulator 2004. Although I may plan on playing more PC games in the future. I don't want it to be a very expensive card either.

My current specifications are:

AMD Athlon 5600 Dual Core Processor @ 2.9 Ghz
6GB DDR2 Ram
Nvidia GeForce 9400GT with 1GB
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
450W PSU
Resolution: 1920x1080

Depends on the budget really, I'd go for a Radeon 5770 for around £120 for slightly older games at 1920*1080.

well the 5770 is close to the same a 260 performance wise, cheaper, direct x 11 and with eyefinity.

alternatively you could get a 4890 which will outperform all three for £140+ mark.

I would say +1 for the 5770 at around £120

If you want anything cheaper, then probably a 4870, specifically this one for it's 1gb of memory.
