Hi everyone!

I have got to admit I think Its time to upgrade my gfx card as I have an aging amd 6850 haha. But I don't have a clue what to go for?
Does anyone have any advise for me please? :)
My budget is probably about £200 and another important factor is that I have an Antec 300 case so I will have to be aware of space

How about the MSI GTX780 and a new case to fit it in?

The MSI is 266x129x38 mm so see if it goes in.

What PSU do you have?

I am bit hesitant upgrading the case as it's been a while and its so much effort haha! But it would be nice to upgrade to the case to something more sleek and reliable .
However I'm on a £200 budget

I have an XFX 750psu.
I intend to use the new gfx card for gaming only at 1080p and single monitor. Just the usual.
Motherboard I have is asrock extreme 4 gen 3

I'd definetly recommend the 780 Gaming. Will crush any of the regularly sub-£200 cards like the 960 or 380. The Antec 300 can apparently take cards up to 318mm, so it'll fit comfortably. There's also the Lightning model for £6 more, but everything I've read about it suggests that it's quite a bit noisier than the Gaming model. That put me off it, personally.

Thank you for the links, very helpful! I have been looking at the AMD R9 380, and was thinking to go for this card. By the sounds of it though I think I should also upgrade my case as it's becoming a problem.
The case you showed looks reliable but a case I seem to have my eyes on are corsair carbide cases? Are hey any good?

Corsair cases are good, check cooler clearances for the cpu if you have a big one.

The R9 285 bgrade is what became the 380.

My cooler is a gelid tranquillo so I think it should be okay :)
Well thanks for the help guys, I think I'm going to go for the 780gtx! You guys pretty much sold it to me!

Quite a difference to be honest. Thankyou :)

Out of all the gfx cards you suggested I think I have my mind set on the GTX780, but after seeing the GTX780Ti, it seems its worth the extra cost. What do you think?

However, even the *B* grade AMD R9 285 sounds very tempting at £100, its just the warranty issue.

If you were going to spend the extra on the 780 Ti, personally I think you'd be better off going with an R9 390 or GTX 970 instead, which would offer around the same performance, but with better DirectX 12 support, more memory and in the case of the 970 much lower power consumption.

Exactly :D
If you are @1080p and can stretch to 970/390, go for it. It's worth it.

What's wrong with the space in an Antec 300 case?

I've got that case and it's had a Gigabyte 7870 and an R290 in it - both of which are pretty big cards...

I'm not aware of the size those cards are Kration. I do like the Antec 300 case but I do want to make sure I buy a gpu which fits nicely :)

But the fact you have the same case as me it helps me a lot so I don't have to buy a new case.
