I'm gonna be building a new pc shortly and I'm trying work out the best value for money / life span in terms of what will go best with the Core 2 Duo E6750. I generally don't over clock anything so it will all be kept at stock most likely.
Which of these would be better, (all of them are really similar price wise so it makes it even harder for me to choose)
MBoard
Asus P5K none delux or Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R
Gcard
Geforce 6800 GT 256MB or Ati Radeon X1950 Pro 256MB
Ram
(2x1GB) DDR2 800MHz PC2-6400
I just want as much of the hardware as possible to be future proof so I can add faster ram later or swap the cpu with a faster quad duo. My current pc is an althon 3000 xp so its quite a leap for me. I play games quite often was sorta hoping a system of that spec would atleast last a year before I'd need to do anything to it.
Thanks for any advice.
