When i get round to ordering my parts i will be looking for a nice GPU that will play,

Euro truck sim 2
Fifa
Project Cars
Battlefield 4 and 1 when i get it

Will have a budget of 300 - 400

970 will breeze through these games, 1070 is a waste of money.
I'd wait to see how 480 affects the prices next week but wouldn't bother with anything over £300 when a £200 card will play everything he wants at 1080p on every slider maxed out (which in most cases doesn't even make difference from settings on 'High' nowadays)

I'd wait until next week to see how the new AMD cards affect prices.
If I was going to buy any of the current 970s it would be the EVGA or MSI. At both £229 and £239 they're a great buy (although might drop further if Radeon 480 released next week offers similar performance for £200).

The 980 Zotac at £275 looks pretty good as well and comes with 5 year warranty.

If you had access to members market on this forum I would recommend second hand which would be a much better value as well.

Give it a week for new cards to get reviewed and benched and it is likely that the current prices will drop at least by further £20.

Thanks for that i will be waiting to see if anything changes.... The reviews of the 970 seem to be all positive and a solid GPU...

Not quite there with posts to get access to Members Market :(
