So build is:

Ryzen 5 3600
Msi b450 Max board
2 x 8gb ballistix 3200
750w psu
500gb Samsung evo ssd

I'm looking to upgrade my gpu, pcs main purpose is to play AAA games on high graphics.

I'm thinking:

Gtx 1660 super
Radeon RX 5700 or the 5700 xt (much difference?)
2060 super

I know prices vary on these quite a bit, would I be right in saying I've listen them from worst to best in terms of performance? Or is the 5700 xt better than the 2060 super?

What would you guys recommend? Thanks.

I thought the 5700xt is on par with the 2070super? I might be wrong though, I know a few people who have the 5700xt and have had driver issues. But I'm not sure if they sorted it.

Damn I certainly don't want to be having issues.

This is the nightmare with gpus I look and it's like oh just another £100 I can get me the 2070 super lol.

I'm not after bragging rights, just a card I can be confident I can run 60 plus frames on 1080 with consistently. Think I'll have to put my max at £400. But I've read the 1660 super is a good card, would something like the 5700 or 2060 be THAT much better for another £150-200 odd?

Thanks.

PNY 2060 super is going for £415. Better than the 5700 XT you think?

If they're both pretty close in performance and I'm not going to have any issues with the 5700 xt then I think I may go for that. Is the 5700xt performance considerably more than the 1660 super? And better for future proofing?

So I'm thinking the 5700 XT from your advice.

This one seems reasonable to me:

MSI RADEON RX 5700 XT MECH OC Graphics Card '8GB GDDR6, 1925Hz, AMD NAVI 10 XT GPU, 3x DisplayPort, HDMI, Dual Fan Cooling System'

Worth it?

Damn pcs.. Set out a budget and I keep saying to myself oh just a little more just a little more I'm already thinking I should have gone ryzen 7.

Also is there any real benefit in going for another 8 or 2x8gb Ram?? The mobo will fit it but I'm not clued up on the benefits or even if I won't see a difference overall with my setup. Just know 16gb is the standard. I'm already talking myself into spending more

Appreciate all your help guys, building pcs and picking parts would be a nightmare without you guys!

1080/60hz isn't hugely demanding so something like the 5700xt will blitz through that and may even be overkill unless you want every single setting on ultra and even maybe then!

Either way it's probably one of the best vfm cards at the moment and will last you a good while

Cheers bud. Yeah I've decide that's the one to go for, want it to last a couple of years and still be decent.
