I am lookig to buy 2 gpu's and put them under water. I have never water cooled before and I do not know about the different manufacturers warranties.

I am looking for brands that ocuk stock and have a warranty that is not void when I remove the factory cooler and put a water block on it.

I would prefer amd cards as I like the red camp but suggestions for nividia cards will be looked at too.

Thank you for your time.

I think Gainward (nvidia) allow you to remove the cooler if purchased through ocuk.

not sure which amd parteners allow it.

you can always refit coolers and the manufacturer may never know.

The only problem with putting the cooler back on is that most of the cards I have seen always have stickers on the screws on the you heat sink which voids your warrant if broken.

I think EVGA (Nvidia) are ok with cooler removal as long as you re-attach it if you need to return it.
I think MSI also allow it if bought through OcUK.
Not sure about Gigabyte, they might be ok with it, but not sure.

2x evga 780 classifieds with ek blocks (out next week)

Or

2 x msi 7990s with ek blocks

You might want to check out:

2x asus 7970 matrix platinum but not sure on the warranty. Will be best bang for buck tho.

EVGA actively promote water cooling. If you goto EK's site, you can get a cooling configurator and type the card you would like and see if there is a block for it.

You have to be careful now as some manufacturers put stickers on the screws with the 'void if removed' warnings on.

Hmm wonder what manufacturer should i go for with 290x then ?? As i will WC it sooner or later.
I am sue that VTX does not put any stickers on bolts.
