I recently build a new rig around the 4770k CPU. I want a new gpu to last me around 2 years minimum (i play a lot of single player games and bf4)

the 2 cards im looking at right now are;

Sapphire / vtx / asus 290 (non x)

Or the

280x msi gaming edition

is the 290 worth the extra £100?

ideally going to order it tommorow.
 
If you can cope with it being hotter and louder than the 280X and if you're looking for a card for 2 years minimum it may be worth the extra outlay. If only the next 20nm cards were around the corner they would be much cooler, cheaper and better performance but these cards have seemed to be around for an age.
