Which GPU?

I need to choose a GPU for my new system. My specs are......

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge)
16Gb GeIL EVO Leggera DDR3
Gelid GX7 CPU Cooler
Gigabyte Z77X-D3H
Intel 330 Series 120GB 2.5" SATA 6Gbs SSD
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB SATA 6Gbs
Antec 900-2 Case
Jeantech Storm 700W PSU

My budget is £200. I don't mind AMD or Nvidia since I have owned both in the past and been quite happy with either. I read the article about overclocking a 6950 to a 6970, is this a good option? Or shall I go for a 7900 series? I have literally no idea what would be the best GPU to compliment my system. My computer is on 24/7 as it streams media during the day, plays games in the evening, and movies at night. So I don't want any overheating issues. I had a card overheat and die before, and up until yesterday when I rebuilt my system (Here!) I was using a Vortexx Neo cooler on my HD4870. Is it worth spending £150 of my budget on a GPU and the other £50 on a decent GPU cooler??
I play a lot of games such as Battlefield3, EVE Online, Command & Conquer, and I use a 24" monitor (if that makes any difference).
Thanks.

If you could stretch to about £230 i'd go for one of the msi 7850's @ £168 and i would change out that psu for say one of the corsair builder series £57,
you have a pretty good system and from what i have read on your psu, its not the best and if its on 24/7, i'd be changing it for peace of mind

Jeantech are made by FSP who do make quality PSU's The reviews on the OP's PSU are very good and rate it highly. No need to change PSU.

So you are saying Twin Frozr IV won't be as quiet as (or quieter than) Twin Frozr III? That would be a step backward for MSI if that was the case don't you think?

I was just going on guys feedback in this forum. You are probably correct in your assumption. I prefer to see user reviews.

The review on xtreme systems indeed do rate it, but on various forums it is a very mixed bag, all sorts of problems are being reported but people generally only post if theres a problem, so i may not of drawn a fair conclusion from it. But me personally i'd change it.

I would still go for the Twin Frozr III purely for how quiet it is reported to be.

I don't have either, but I believe that the MSI lightning cooler is similar/same to the TF4 and it is louder than most coolers, including some reference, at idle, but it pretty much stays at idle fan speed even under load, sometimes going 10% higher where you can just hear i above game sounds. This ofcourse depends how loud you have your gaming volume :p

That's fair enough. I would happily use it as it has fail safes if it does go.

It does get good reviews from Guru3D and does run very cool. Maybe I would be swayed :)

Yea I'm half asleep lol.

Does the 7850pe have larger fans than the tf3? Idk the size of the tf3's but I though it was only the ltgs that had the larger fans

So everyone seems to be leaning toward the 7850. How do they deal with temperatures? Do they have sufficient cooling? My HIS 4870 didnt. It was noisy as hell and still reached 90c under load. Would I need to fit an aftermarket cooler before overclocking? I like the gelid one. :)
Also regarding my PSU. I've had it for 3 years running 24/7 and no problems whatsoever. I won't be replacing it yet. ;)
