Probably a very quick and easy question, but for sticking a bit of skirting on which one is the best/best value? I am aware the answer is not no more nails as I have used that in the past!

Cheers

Dave

Go to a hardware store or your local supermarket and pick up the cheapest instant grab adhesive. For skirting boards it doesn't need to be the strongest and there will be pennies between the generic ones anyway.

Mighty strength grip and grab from toolstation the best I've used. Instant adhesion. I've used it to batten and board with it it's that strong. It's very stiff though so you need strong wrists and hands to use it with a caulking gun!

About a fiver a tube so about twice the price of your regular gripfill. Etc... I also use gripfill

Sikoflex 252 , great stuff about £8 for a tube.

Holds like nothing else , we use it to build/bond frames for wire line trucks and i use at home too.

£8 a tube for sticking on skirting!? Just buy whatever is on offer cheaply available, something from Screwfix will do, off not then Gripfill is usually reasonable in Wickes.

Ive used no more nails a few times still have a tube in the garage, never had a problem with it, even used it to stick the gfs car mirror back on lol

My dads a carpenter and he uses Pinkgrip. Says it has more grip than grip fill and all the other non solvent based adhesives like no nails.

It grabs very quickly and strongly so there should be no need for pinning.
