Which graphics card for £200 budget?

Yeah, that's right. Well, since your upgrading your monitor next year, which isn't too far off (though maybe it depends 'when' in the coming year), I'd still consider one of the cards in those ranges linked above. Failing that, go for a 1gb 6870 or 1gb 560 / 560ti.

Whatever card you get, 2GB is beneficial now that more DX 11 titles are on the go, even more so if you don't upgrade often.

The 2GB cards will perform better than 1GB especially if you game on large screen tv's which can look better with more AA.

As pointed out above the nvidia 560ti's come with the free BAC voucher which your after, where as the 6950's usually come with Deus Ex and Dirt 3.

Out of them all this 6950 will give you the coolest temps in your case as its got an OTE cooler if that matters to you:

Not necessarly true

on a 6950 the gpu runs out of steam before the extra 1gb of ram can be utilized. Maybe if you go crossfire in the future it will help.

Now if they maybe tried 'max' in game settings...

That's just one game off hand that I have installed to compare.

Why didn't they use max settings? Not everybody uses a monitor, there will be people out there playing on 1080p 60" tv's that games are going to look better with as much AA as possible, that's what I was pointing out.

We would have a better argument on our hands.;)

What about the games they didn't use: Crysis 2, DA II, Rage(with cfg mod), BF3, why didn't they use them as the review was only done 5 days ago?

Don't forget about older games getting higher IQ settings via CCC as well, that's going to use up vram as well.

I have a Gigabyte 560ti oc running on 1440x900 and havent found any faults atall so far even in the heavy parts of crysis never dropped below 40fps on ultra
