Hi All

Looking for a graphics card that can drive 5 monitors. It's for an office environment - so apps on,y, no gaming.

I want to drive the monitors at their native resolution.

Dell 30" - 2560x1600

Dell 27" 1920x1080 ( two of these )

Dell 19" 1280x1024( two of these )

All the monitors have dvi inputs , and the dell 30 and 27 inches all have displayports.

Any ideas for a card that can do all 5 ? And not have to compromise on resolution

1 x Asus HD 5450 SILENT 1024MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Low Profile Graphics Card £19.99

2x5450's, 1x HDMI to DVI adapter, 2x VGA to DVI adapters for the 19" if they don't already have native VGA inputs.

The adapters are a few quid at most.

You mean 1 6450 flex and 1 5450 :) No 5450's can power 3 monitors, 6450 flex is the cheapest card that can do this and supports 3 dvi monitors out of the box.

So if you got one of these http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-271-AS and one of these http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-309-SP you wouldn't need anything else assuming at least one of the monitors has a vga or hdmi input. You also need a motherboard with 2 pci-e slots, if you don't it will be a bit more difficult to power 5 monitors.

You may be able to use an Asus gt 640 which can power 4 http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/GT6402GD3/ and 1 from your motherboard if it has onboard but this doesn't always work

Two of the monitors mentioned by the OP have displayport inputs, so the adaptor wouldn't be needed.

It does seem that the 5450's with display port are harder to find these days, I hadn't realised that.
