Which graphics card for this set-up and requirements?

Good evening all,

Basically, I have been getting a little bored of my i7 930 system and have decided to build a new system. These are the specs of the new build:

CM Storm Stryker
i5 3570k
Asus MAXIMUS V GENE Z77
GeIL Black Dragon 16GB
BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 2
NZXT Hale Power 90+ 750W

I have already 2 SSD's from my existing system that I will use, and at the moment I am not worried about an optical drive as all the games I play (Total War series/FM/F1/etc) are either on Steam or Origin.

Initially the system will be air cooled, but in about 6 months when I have saved up some more money I will be wanting to water cool the system.

What I am unsure on is the graphics card. I was sure I was set on the Asus HD 7950 Top V2, but I keep getting cold feet. I keep looking at the GTX 670 and wondering if it would be better. All I ever do on the PC is play games, surf net and sometimes watch movies/tv if the wife is hogging the TV.

My budget for a graphics card is around £300, a little more if really needed.

Any advice of recommendations (even outside of the 2 I've listed) would be much appreciated.
