Which graphics card is better to upgrade for my PC ?

My PC spec : 2017 Rig

Ryzen7 1700
Wraith Spire
Msi B350 Tomahawk
Gskill TridentZ 3200mhz 16gb(8*2)
Msi RX 480 Armor 8GB OC
Capture card elgato 4K60 Pro mk.2
WD Black 1tb 7200rpm
Samsung SSD EVO 850 240gb
ADATA XPG GAMMIX S11 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Corsair RM 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
Gigabyte ‎M28U 28.0" 3840x2160 144 Hz Monitor
LG 22MP68 22" Full HD IPS SLIM LED MONITOR (1920x1080)
win10 pro 64bit

And PS5

I would like play games like dota2 and fortnite, And I want to record games at 4k60 UHD HDR resolution from PS5

My Rx480 is only best recording 2k60fps.

And I fear about Bottleneck of new GPU

That 1700 won't be too much of a bottleneck if you're playing at 4k, especially if overclocked. You're right on the cusp, however, of wanting a CPU upgrade. Unfortunately, that b350 will only allow you to go to Zen 2, so you'd really need toninvest in a new mobo to step up.

On the graphics card, you haven't mentioned budget, so it's hard to gauge options. If you're looking for the same tier performance as you had in 2017, I'd look at an rx 6700 xt or rtx 3060 ti. That should get you above 60fps in Fortnite and Dota2, albeit with some reduced settings in fortnite.

It was the case that B350 didn't support Zen 3 but that changed back in February/March this year. The B350 tomahawk even supports the 5800X3D and puts in a very respectable performance against the latest generation of boards.

Need to know a budget but a 6700 or 6700xt or 3060ti be a massive upgrade. The 4xxx or 7xxx equivalent GPU wont be around till well next year so might be best to grab one of the aforementioned GPU's whilst they are dropping in price.

I think my sons computer is on a B350 with a 5600 CPU.

Yep MSI B350 Gaming Plus.

Normally I'd say get a RX 6700, would be a nice upgrade for you, but I don't know if the recording hardware is as good as what nvidia have.

That's good news. I thought it was only the b450 and x470 that were backwards compatible with Zen 3 with a bios flash (which would wipe out compatibility for older zen chips except a few MSI boards that have 16mb bios chips).

In that case, if it were me, I'd grab a 5600x and a 6700 xt or 3060 ti.

5600X and RTX 3060 Ti.

At 1080P anything more than a 3060 Ti is serious overkill especially since you can OC the Ti to be in clawing distance of a stock 3070.

I have the same CPU, Motherboard and did have a 480 in one of my rigs.

It really depends on your budget, the motherboard can support much newer CPU's but in your situation especially at 4k the GPU is holding you back. I would probably say go for the best GPU you can get - Your PSU should be fine up to a 3080, above that or an overclocked 3080 you may need to look more at your PSU. Or you could go with a 3600/3800 second hand and a 3060/70/6800 for a nice upgrade overall.

Lol what? 3060 Ti will smash Fortnite with epic settings over 100fps. It's hardly a demanding game.

Even at 1440P.

I would place bets on 200-400 FPS with a 5000 series CPU at 1080P with anything less than epic, epic though is way above 100 FPS.

With the 1700 CPU, lucky to get anywhere close to this performance at any res.

Actually this is not my gaming rig, This PC is only for streaming and I want to record games at 4k60 UHD HDR or stream at 1080 60fps with good quality in youtube from Playstation5.
For that im looking for hardware upgrade
this is my demo streaming
using OBS studio
Is this video clarity good? I feel its blurry compare to other youtube streamer

Your video looks fine mate.

If you are not planning on using RT, Radeon are a better deal.

If you're going with AMD make sure to update OBS, they released an update a few days ago that boosts encoding quality.

However, I would argue more that you need to check your upload speeds and what you've set the bitrate for the stream as. That would usually be the bottleneck on quality especially at 4K.

ok I will update and try.
and the bandwidth is https://ibb.co/RzhWY3f
and the OBS setting is https://ibb.co/wS0CR9Z
these settings for 1080p I tried from 10000 to 24000 bitrate, everything looks blurry compared to that other youtuber video.

At 4k I am just recording not streaming. but my Gpu cant handle it to record at 4k60fps.

That's already a very high bitrate for 1080p at least. And you have the internet to support it. If it's quality you're after, have you tried the software encoder? that will use the CPU instead but it will look better than any GPU encoding, and since you're not gaming on the PC, the 1700 should be fine with 1080p, although not sure with 4K. As for recording, is there an option to use h265/HEVC instead?

yes it has another option x264
