Hi peeps

Ok so I had ordered all my parts minus gpu for my new sb build, anyway there was a problem with my asus pro motherboard and I have returned it.

Now if i have another asus pro p67 with the money I have left over I afford a gtx 460, but if go with the cheaper msi c45 board I can stretch to a gtx 480. I am not interested in sli/x fire and will be running a 60gb ssd and a 1tb hdd. Will I be losing much by going for the msi c45 and will the gain of a 480 be worth it??

Thanks all

GTX480 is much much better than a GTX460.

Motherboard will run cooler and as far as Im concerned is better in general.

No, none apart from number of USB ports and SATA ports and the extra PCI-E slot on the ASUS.

Infact, iirc the MSI board runs CF/SLI at 16x/8x rather than the 8x/8x the ASUS Pro does.

Why the large price difference? I don't know, go figure! :p

I didn't think this model msi c45 did Xfire or sli??

So basic all I'm losing a few sata ports, seems like a no-brained to switch to a msi c45 and get the gtx 480:D
