Which graphics card to go for?

If it were me I would wait to see what price the 760 comes in at, if it is cheap enough it may push the 7950 price down by a few quid. Unless you must build now waiting a few days could be worth it.

Yeah I'm going to do that, I have to say I like the look of PhysX so would be tempted by a 760 especially as then I am buying into the newest generation, I know this is probably a stupid question, but you guys said that the Xfire 7950s would outperform the 780, but would SLI 760s do the same?

Thanks!

Yes they would :)

OK, final scenario, could I skimp on the SSD, go for a 128GB instead of 250GB and change my RAM to something slightly cheaper and then go for a GTX 770?

If I did this I don't think i would buy a second at Xmas to SLI because I don't think I would need to, potentially, this is the card I was looking at:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-178-GW&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=1750

Any opinions on getting the 770 over the 7950/760/670? Bearing in mind I would probs have 2 of the 7950/760/670 at Xmas. I have been looking at leaked benchmarks and it seems (from what I have seen) that the 760 is meant to compete with the GTX660ti, and would not have the same performance of the HD7950.

Basically someone please tell me what to go for out of 7950, 670, 770, 7970 and could you recommend a specific card?!

Sorry for not knowing what I want!

I was but then I read about the 760 getting lower framerates and performing less well in benchmarks than a 670, and being more lined up to succeed the 660TI line?

I haven't kept up to date with the 760 talk, so I can't advise there. It's only a few days anyway. :)

So now the 760 has been released do I push the boat out and buy 2x 760 in 6 days time or just go with a single 770? Halp plz!
