Hi,

I'm planning on buying a gaming pc v.soon (tomorrow) and i'm having a last minute confusion.

Long story short, i want a graphics card that can play the likes of Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Fifa 09, Assassin's Creed, S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Clear Sky, Bioshock at the mximum settings but that'll also be able to play Diablo III, Assassin's Creed 2 and Modern Warfare 2 at maximum too (i plan to buy the latter games at some point)

The resolution i plan to play at is 1920x1080, and i wanted to know what GFX card you guys would go for. I was thinkin of getting the XFX Radeon 4890

The other specs will be i7 920, Gigabyte EX58-UD3R, Corsair XMS3 6GB , Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit, etc.

Thanks in advance for your advice

At that resolution, the 4890 is a great card. Make sure it's a 1gb version. The 5770 is less performance (only a little) but is more future proof. If you can spend a little more then get a 5850 ;)

I was thinking about getting a 5850 but on this forum people seem to be having problems with them, and i'm not a hardware expert, a problem with something like that would make me nervous, lol.

you reckon a 5850 would work well though, if so which brand?
