Which Graphics card

Looking for a little advice on a new graphics card, at the moment I have a 4870 512mb running dual monitors a 24" 1920x1200 and a 20" 1600x1200.
I'm in the states for a week and was looking at getting new graphics card would like one with 1gb for the resolution, I was originally thinking of getting a 5850 but the prices of the GTX470 have really dropped recently, looked at getting a 5870 but I really would like a 128gb SSD as well so its just out of reach.......

My only worry is my psu as its only 525W. It is a Enermax Modu82 and as far as I can tell it would be good enough for the 470 just wanting to make sure it could cope.

Rest of the system is a E6400 @3.2ghz Msi Platinium motherboard 4gb memory couple of hdd's (one will be removed for the ssd) 2 dvd writers and a Asus sound card sitting in a Antec 300.

Mainly play Lotro, Eve Online, NFSW and a couple of driving games.

Can't go wrong with a 5850 or a 470, I would go 470 as it performs better than the 5850, but runs hotter and consumes more power.

For the lower cost, less heat and lower noise. Other than that, I don't think the 470 is that much ahead of it to pay its asking price.

I believe the extra £30 is worth the performance difference, especially when you're getting much better minimum fps with a 470.

Ok thanks, so I shouldn't have any problems with my PSU and a 470? Thats my main worry, as for the price difference I can pick either up for approx the same price.

Yeah enermax are a great PSU brand and yours has 40 amps on the 12v as well 80+ efficiency, it will power a 470 no problem. If you can pick either card up for similar price then yeah I would go 470.
