Which Graphics Card?

Hello,

I have posted an earlier thread on the 2 ATI cards, but after being able to boost my budget by £50 I need new recommendations.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 570 OC WINDFORCE 3X 1280MB GDDR5

OR

HIS ATI Radeon HD 6970 IceQ Turbo 2048MB

If I do instead decide to just keep the £50 in my pocket I would go for the MSI ATI Radeon HD 6950 OC Twin FrozR III Power Edition 2048MB as that was the unanimous vote per my last thread.

Neither, get what you were originally thinking of and put the rest towards an ssd!

£208 gets the twin frozr III if you look for it!

In my current spec it does already include a SSD. Should I just keep the £50? Perhaps Twin FrozR is just superior in performance/price to the GTX 570 or ATI 6970?

Get another ssd and install games on it.

9/10 you'll be the first person on a BF3 multiplayer map- first to the tanks/heli's etc!

Yes the price/performance ratio of the 6950 Twin FrozR is superior, you get very little more return for your cash.

I have 2 6950's unlocked to 6970's but if I was buying today, I would save myself a small fortune and get this instead:

An extra £36 gets you 2 of them that will destroy both of the above cards!

I would stick with the 6950 if it were me, the 6970/570 are a bit too pricey for the performance gains.

So after deciding on the MSI 6950. It seems like the OcUK website is down - the product specific pages...

Anyone else having this issue?
