Which gtx 1070?

My choice has been narrowed down to the gigabyte windforce oc with 2 fans, or the EVGA SC .

The EVGA one is £15 more expensive.

Which would be best if i was planning on selling in a year or two? And for performance?

Or the Zotac AMP extreme at the same price as the EVGA SC

Palit Gamerock Premier is one of the best IMO, binned chips which boost very well and a really efficient 3 slot cooler. The looks are subjective but you can't beat the speed and cooling for the price IMO.

They only have a 2 year warranty though so EVGA have them beat the the 3 year transferrable warranty. Not sure on the Zotac warranty but if you were keeping it long term the 5 years would be very nice.

if ur prepared to drop £400 on a card, it's probably worth spending an extra £20 to get one with much better / quieter cooling.

I was in a similar situation, but fortunately I found a reasonable priced Gigabyte 1070 (UK based massively swung it) but I was tempted by the Palit till it went OOS.

I've had a look about but couldn't find any mention of this.

The ***** review of the PE version only uses the word 'guaranteed' clocks. I couldn't find any difference between the two versions listed on the Palit website.

With £20 difference between the two it would be nice to know if its a thing. I wasn't expecting any of the manufacturer's cards to have binned chips what with the Founder's cards not getting them. In fact a few websites have commented on the lacked of binned options all round.

My msi 1070 armour is dead silent,runs very cool,and as many others have said the clocks on these any higher than 2000 is just numbers with no gain in fps ,so spending anymore on a 1070 for higher spec models is for epeen and nothing else from what I've seen on the forums,but if you've got the cash to splash buy the one you like the look of.

Ok maybe for a tenner or so, but any 1070 will be fine.
