I know several of you have a GTX460 or two folding and I am thinking of getting a couple myself.

I am assuming that there is no folding performance difference between the 768MB and 1024MB models?

The MSI GeForce GTX 460 Cyclone 768MB is on offer until Wednesday so I considering this but the OCUK value option is cheaper but are the cards any good? - The reviewers say they have received sparkle cards.

I have read enough here that I would be wise to avoid Palit cards and the Gainward cards are great but I don't really want to spend that much

Suggestions?

apologies if this should really be in the Graphics Cards forum

I have found the Gigabyte GTX 460 OC 768MB for £3.38 more than the MSI Cyclone and I think I might get this as it seems a slightly superior card

I'd imagine you'll be limited by the voltage regs before you're limited by the core.

You can't put more than 1.087V (poss 1.1V) through them or the OVP kicks in.

I can get 850MHz on air at those volts, on water i'd expect you could get 900 or so.

There's an improved MSI card coming out soon that has double the power regulation and can go to 1.3V, they've done 1000MHz on Air.

Hmmm to wait or not to wait? What is the source?

Probably about 3 feet

I thought my jokes were bad - Go home Biffa
