Hi guys, I don't normally venture into this forum, but here I am. :D
I'm looking to get a handsfree kit for my phone (HTC Touch HD) but have absolutely no idea where to start looking.
I presume I'm after a bluetooth headset thing.. something I can leave in my car, possibly charging? Not sure. Then when I get in the car, if I get a phone call, I can plug it in my ear, press a button and it'll connect to the phone, and answer the call with a further button press - something like that?
Sorry, I really have very little idea how these things work!

Again, I don't really know how much a decent example will set me back - but looking to spend less than £100 as an absolute maximum, cheaper is good.

Thanks for any suggestions/assistance!

get a parrot ck3000.

does everything you need and it uses the cars speakers to relay the audio.. You should be able to get it for £100 fitted.

Hmm, I hadn't considered this type of handsfree at all! Having looked at it, it looks a capable bit of kit, but I think I'm probably after something with slightly more privacy. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Anyway I've spent pretty much the entire day (!) reading the user comments for all the handsfree stuff on Amazon and I think I'm going to go for either the Plantronics Discovery 925 or 975 (£40/£60), if anyone's interested - basically bluetooth earplug things - as they seem to come highly recommended, much higher ratings than other stuff from that class. Just not sure I can justify the extra £20 for the battery level indicator and slightly more charge, which are the only big differences really!
