I heard Gaming performance is a little better if Windows is installed on a seperate HD to Games.

I have an older SATA1 and a faster SATA2 7200RPM disk.

Which would be better, install windows on the faster disk, and the games on the slower disk
OR
Install Windows on the slower disk and the games on the faster disk?
OR
It this all a load of rubbish?

Having your page file on the same disc as your games can cause some issues on a full disc.

Install windows and your games on the same harddrive and set your pagefile onto another partition or hardrive and set page file on your game/windows hardrive to 0.

That is all you can do.

The performance increase you will acheive is nearly nothing.

Pritty much that. Although yes I have Windows on my Raptor and Programme Files and My Docs on another hdd...

I do this to have faster loading times in Windows and for a easy(er) reinstall.

As for games, you would see no difference, even you did a benchmarking tools I highly doubt you would see even a 1% difference.
