Which hard drive would you buy?

I need a new hard drive (ide) looking at 160gig as that is all I will need before I build a new pc in the winter which will have SATA or whatever else is going.

So which make would you choose and why? Don’t really want Maxtor as that is the one I’m replacing! It died after 18months.

yeah i could well get the 250gig, but not sure i would need it when i switch to a sata setup?

so 1 mark for samsung!

How about a SATA 250gb & a SATA to IDE convertor? That way you'll get the bigger drive which can be simply shunted into the new PC & Windows reinstalled?

yeah went with the seagate, gotta see if my maxtor is still covered.. brought it 18 months ago...
