Firstly I'm new here, and I'm sure this is in the wrong section!
Anyway, I'm new to sim racing, watched a few YouTube videos and thought I'd give it a go! So as a starter, I borrowed an Xbox One of a friend who had upgraded, and then went on Facebook Marketplace and bought a Playseat Challenge and a Logitech G920 wheel and pedals. I've spent the last few weeks getting to grips with the set up on Assetto Corsa (basic game) and F1 23 that I got cheap from CEX..... Safe to say I'm hooked and I'm already looking at upgrades!
My plan was to upgrade to an Xbox Series X for quicker load times and some 4k gaming but then it occurred to me that that may not actually improve my experience and that maybe I should be changing the wheel and pedals first?? Now, I have no real space for a permanent rig so can't really upgrade my Playseat Challenge to anything sturdier, and with no intention to move over to PC any time soon I'm limited with choices of DD wheels which would obviously be my preference (ideally with a load cell pedal set!). I have already changed the spring on my current brake pedal and removed the rubber block which has helped but the brake is still vague to say the least, and the wheel has a habit of feeling a bit scratchy in the bends and sounding clunky on the straights....
So here's my question. Which would be the most beneficial upgrade to improve my overall experience?

- Swap out the Xbox One to an Xbox series X but still play Assetto Corsa and F1 23 for now until F1 26 is released next year and keep using the Logitech G920 wheel and pedals playing on an LG 55 inch OLED would the increase in resolution make a noticeable difference?
- Stick with the Xbox One but change the wheel and pedals. With me not changing the Playseat Challenge I wouldn't be able to upgrade to anything too strong and would need Xbox compatibility so currently looking at the Moza R3 bundle with the break upgrade, although still not a load cell which would be my real preference. If there are any other DD wheel and LC pedal options that work with Xbox I'm all ears!!
